YEREVAN. – The former president criticizes situation in Armenia without a hidden aspiration to return to politics, said MP from ruling party Lernik Aleksanyan.

He believes the polemic between Robert Kocharyan and incumbent PM Tigran Sargsyan is rather emotional than political argument.

“I cannot exclude that the second president is interested in the political situation and internal processes, therefore he slams economic policy of the incumbent authorities. But his criticism is not that politicized,” Aleksanyan told reporters on Monday.

As reported earlier, in his recent interview Robert Kocharyan slammed the Cabinet’s policy on pension reform and gas deal.
