YEREVAN. – An Armenian capital city Yerevan general jurisdiction court publicized its verdict on former MP Hmayak Hovhannisyan, who is Chairman of the Politologists’ Union of Armenia, Aravot.am reports.

Hovhannisyan was found guilty pursuant to the Criminal Code, he was fined 100,000 drams (approx. $247), but he was excused under amnesty.

The ex-deputy, however, will appeal against the ruling because, as he told Aravot.am, he will not permit this verdict to cast a shadow upon his virtuous story of your life.

Hmayak Hovhannisyan was charged with pushing and causing injury to the director of the Armenian Hydro Energy Project Institute.
