YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia is positive toward any debate, if it aims to observe reality from different sides, improve something, or make it more effective.
Presidential Press Secretary Arman Saghatelyan told the aforesaid to Aravot daily.
“At the same time, he [i.e., President Serzh Sargsyan] considers ineffective the self-interest debate about the phenomena clinging to the past and left in the past. He also does not encourage self-indulgence in a debate. He favors calm, balanced, and unemotional discussion that aims to solve problems.
“He is certainly is mostly familiar specifically with the exchange of views [between the government members and second President Robert Kocharyan]. The President of the Republic is of the view that the PM and the other members of the government have responded to the issues raised [by Kocharyan] properly, in balanced manner, and with respect,” the Presidential press secretary also stated.
