A criminal case is launched into the death of Armenian soldier Karen Galstyan. 

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that the criminal case is opened on charges of murder on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred, or religious fanaticism.    

We also have learned that Galstyan was from Sisian city in Armenia, and he was to be discharged from the army in spring. 

Military serviceman Karen Galstyan (born in 1994) sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his head on Tuesday, and as a result of the adversary’s sniper fire. Galstyan was killed at the military position of the protection area of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic military unit which is stationed in the northern direction.
