YEREVAN. – The reported death of an Armenian soldier today is tragic, OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair said.

“The recent escalation - with deaths on both sides - damages prospects for #peace,” James Warlick tweeted.

Military serviceman Karen Galstyan (born in 1994) sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his head on Tuesday, and as a result of the adversary’s sniper fire. Galstyan was killed at the military position of the protection area of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) military unit which is stationed in the northern direction.
