YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan on Friday visited the new building of passport and visa department that was opened last September.
Premier was accompanied by Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan and Deputy Chief Arthur Osikyan. Premier Sargsyan himself passed the procedures and got biometric passport and ID card.
Tigrsan Sargsyan said passport and visa reform is one of the greatest achievements over the last five years.
Prime Minister was informed about the course of reforms. It was noted that the introduction of new technologies has improved the quality of services, corruption risks have been minimized and now less time is spent on paperwork
