YEREVAN. – The situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is relatively calm.

The Armenian defense minister’s press secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, slightly fewer ceasefire violations were recorded in recent days.

As reported earlier, the situation at the border had become tense recently after Azerbaijan’s yet another unsuccessful military diversion attempt against the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). But in the following days, and despite denying the fact of this attempt, Azerbaijan had considerably increased its shots fired upon the Armenia and the NKR positions.
