YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party has not invited any political force to its event to be held on February 18, Party Vice-Chairman Armen Martirosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Martirosyan commented on the media information that the non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) may take part in the rally of Heritage’s chairman, ex-presidential candidate, and former FM, Raffi Hovannisian.
“We have not yet decided what will happen on the 18th of the month; this matter is still being discussed. As for the [participation by the] PAP, or [by] another [political] force, I will say that there is no such thing,” Heritage’s official stated.
Armen Martirosyan also ruled out the possibility of joining the march by opposition National Self-Determination Union Chairman, ex-presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan, which likewise will be held on February 18.
