YEREVAN. – Addition inflation from Armenia’s joining Customs Union will not exceed 1.5%, Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan told reporters.

“Naturally, other inflation factors will not disappear. I mean only additional inflation background,” Avanesyan told a briefing in parliament on Thursday.

He noted that Armenia’s free trade agreements signed with CIS states and Georgia remain in force. Besides, free trade agreements between Customs Union and, for instance, Serbia may refer to Armenia as well.

“There will be no customs duty for the imported goods from these countries,” Avanesyan explained.
