YEREVAN. – Armenia’s prospects for Customs Union accession has not reduced but increased country’s attractiveness for investors, Economy Minister Vharam Avanesyan told reporters.  

“Armenia may become a major supplier to the large market of Customs Union. Many investors want to produce the goods necessary for Customs Union in Armenia,” he said.

Avanesyan emphasized that integration with the Customs Union will be much easier, since Armenia and CU mainly have common standards.

At the same time Armenia preserves trade preferences with EU.
