The public response provoked by Turkish Premier Recep Erdogan’s anti-Armenian statements is getting stronger.

Les Nouvelles d’Arménie reports that the Genç Siviller Association held demonstrations in Istanbul and Bursa. The young people were severely critical of the Turkish Premier and Parliament members, particularly the notorious Armenophobe Canan Aritman of the Republican People's Party (RPP). The demonstrators were carrying a power with a photomontage: Talaat pasha’s picture with Erdogan’s head, and Aritman’s picture besides.

Cener Kenar, who spoke at the action stated: “The Government’s reaction has not changed over the 95 years. The prime ministers’ statements are against conscience and international law. We do not want to be Talaat’s grandchildren, but the grandchildren of the people that saved Armenians.”
