YEREVAN. – The four non-ruling-coalition parliamentary forces of Armenia are preparing their next steps to protect the interests of the people.

Opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) bloc National Assembly (NA) Faction Head Levon Zurabyan noted the abovementioned at Friday’s NA briefing.

But he assured that he will not disclose their future steps, even in the case of persecution.  

In Zurabyan’s words, the people need to take to the street to restore their rights.

“We need to demand the authorities to be accountable before the people,” the ANC MP stated. 

Commenting on the authorities’ possible initiative to set up an ad-hoc committee on the natural gas issue, he noted that the authorities are aware of their deplorable situation.   

“They have lost. [And] we will not trust the ruling party’s initiative,” Levon Zurabyan maintained.
