YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 410.59/$1 in Armenia on Friday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.87 rise from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 557.05 (up by AMD 2.9), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.84 (up by AMD 0.03), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 670.95 (up by AMD 3.27), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,586.77, AMD 259.13, and AMD 18,217.07, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 6 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 411.47/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 411.25/$1, the stock exchange informs.
