YEREVAN. – Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan inspected the construction works at the bypassing road connecting Vazashen and Paravaqar villaged on the border with Azerbaijan.
A 3.2-kilometer long and 6-7 meter wide road is expected to be constructed by June.
During the meeting with local residents, Abrahamyan underscored importance of investments for the development of border villages. He also noted the demographic problems of the region, pledging 100,000 AMD assistance for every child born, including those born in 2013.
