YEREVAN. – Two congresses will be convened Saturday in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan. 

The tenth convention of the Yerkrapah Volunteers Union will take place at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

President Serzh Sargsyan, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan, the Armenia and NKR ministers of defense, and several other officials are invited to this event.  

Separately, the non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) will hold its seventh congress at the PAP Central Office.

The first session of this convention will be closed. Subsequently, however, a media center will open, where the PAP senior officials will hold a briefing.  

According to media reports, former PAP ministers and MPs are invited to the PAP congress.

But unlike the previous Prosperous Armenia Party conventions, this congress will be very small, and harsh remarks are expected to be made at the event.
