The Government of Armenia, with its protocol decision in 2010, approved the Concept of Gender Policy, and thereby affirmed its commitment to gender equality and for the benefit of the socioeconomic, political, and cultural development of the country.
The role of the media in the elimination of gender-related stereotypes and discrimination to achieve gender equality is greatly underscored, since the media today have great importance in the formation of public opinion, worldview, and values.
