Along the lines of the 12th General Assembly of the European Free Alliance (EFA), Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan met with members of the EFA Chairmanship, on February 14.

At the press conference on the results of his visit to Spain, Ghulyan stated that the EFA Chairmanship members were presented the NKR’s state structure, objectives and challenges, and the Karabakh peace process. The parties also discussed the possible avenues for the development of cooperation with EFA.

“A delegation from the EFA Chairmanship will visit Nagorno-Karabakh in the coming months, to get acquainted on location with our history, postwar realities, and our vision for the development of a democratic, legal and social state,” Ghulyan noted.

In Ashot Ghulyan’s words, the cooperation with EFA should be considered within the framework of interparliamentary and inter-party collaboration.

The 12th General Assembly of the European Free Alliance was held in Spain, on February 14 and 15.
