YEREVAN. – The guests of the First Pan-Armenian Winter Games will be exempted from the visa fees for entry into Armenia.
The respective resolution was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, introducing the plan, informed that the games will be held from February 24 to March 2.
The Pan-Armenian Games are held since 1999. At first, they were conducted once every two years, but ever since 2003, they are held once every four years.
Solely Summer Games were held in the past, and the athletes compete in ten events.
The Pan-Armenian Games bring together Armenian teams from thirty cities around the world, and athletes from Armenia.
