YEREVAN. – The Ukrainian Maidan’s repetition in Armenia is not ruled out. 

Opposition Armenian National Congress bloc former member, Green Party of Armenia Chairman Armenak Dovlatyan stated the above-said at a press conference on Saturday.

As per  Dovlatyan, the mood of the Maidan is not observed in any other CIS country, and the same goes for Russia; it is impossible there, since the mechanisms are different.    

But the Green Party leader did not the rule out the possibility of the Ukrainian Maidan’s repetition in Armenia, which would be undesirable.  

“The Armenian authorities understand that we cannot continue in this way, and they are gradually making concessions. After all, no matter how patient the people might be, patience has its limits, and a serious outburst is possible at that time,” Armenak Dovlatyan stressed.
