YEREVAN. –  The opposition Armenian National Congress MP Aram Manukyan called to reveal the secret of gas agreements with Russia.

During his speech in the parliament, Manukyan said Armenian government had to discuss gas problem with parliament in due time and had to inform about growing debt.

“We want to unveil the secret of gas agreements with Russia.  Secrecy will lead to pressure,” he noted. 

Four non-coalition parties of the parliament initially spoke against the sale of ArmRusgazprom shares to the Russian side demanding creation of ad hoc committee to study the facts. Finally, parliamentary majority agreed to the initiative.
