YEREVAN. – An operator of Teghut copper-molybdenum mine was granted new tax preferences by the government on Thursday.
In 2013 the company received tax deferral on import of equipment amounting to around 5.7 billion drams. By today's decision, this figure increased to 7.9 billion (about $19 million).
According to the geological survey, Teghut mine has the second largest copper deposit in Armenia (1.5 million tons), and contains about 100 tons of molybdenum.
