More than ten trucks and several armored personnel carriers, accompanied by military vehicle inspectors and Russian soldiers, moved toward “Belbek” Sevastopol International Airport in Crimea, Ukraine, at around 11pm on Thursday.
They claim that they have arrived in the airport, “not to allow the armed men to arrive,” Interfax Ukraine reports citing competent military sources in Sevastopol.
It is reported that the soldiers have surrounded the airport and are waiting for further instructions.
The tactical aviation’s Sevastopol brigade, which performs military turn of duty, is stationed at Belbek airport.
