Eearly elections announced for May 25 in Ukraine are illegitimate, Viktor Yanukovich said, adding that he will not participate.
Yanukovich said all elections must be held in accordance with law and Constitution of Ukraine.
He apologized to the Ukrainian people for what had happened, adding he “lacked strength to maintain stability”.
