Armenian diplomats are distinguished for their patriotism, high professionalism,

YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan on Sunday issued a message of congratulations on the occasion of the Diplomat’s Day in Armenia.   

“Dear diplomats:

“The diplomacy of newly independent Armenia has a very rich history. The Armenian diplomats are distinguished for [their] patriotism, high professionalism, and devotion.

“I am convinced that, as a result of your devoted daily activities, we are able to protect the interests of our country and people, to further raise Armenia’s standing in the international arena.

“At the threshold of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, I expect the doubling up of the Armenian diplomacy’s efforts toward the international recognition and condemnation of this crime as well as the prevention of such crimes in the future.

“I am confident that our diplomatic service will continue the expanding of cooperation with various countries, increasing of the number of our friends in the world,” President Sargsyan’s message reads, in particular.
