UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday in the margins of the Human Rights Council.
They discussed the crisis in Ukraine and the importance of de-escalating the situation by engaging in constructive and meaningful dialogue, UN website reported.
On Syria, the Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister exchanged views on the Geneva talks and how to help Syrians find a peaceful solution to the conflict.
