YEREVAN. – Armenian health minister Derenik Dumanyan instructed to hold a consultation to assess the health conditions of Mamikon Khojoyan, Armenian captive returned by Azerbaijan. 

A trauma surgeon is heading to Ijevan, the Ministry said. If necessary, Khojoyan will undergo treatment in the hospitals in Yerevan.

Mamikon Khojoyan, 77, a resident of Verin Karmiraghbyur village of Armenia’s Tavush Region, was taken captive by Azerbaijan on January 28. He suffers from mental illness. Azerbaijan returned the elderly to Armenia on Tuesday.
