The supreme council of Crimea decided to set referendum on the status of Crimea for March 16, Vice Prime Minister Rustam Temirgaliyev said.

He said there will be two questions on the ballot: are you in favor of Crimea becoming a constituent territory of the Russian Federation, and the second one: are you in favor of restoring Crimea’s 1992 constitution.

According to the 1992 Constitution, the Republic of Crimea is a part of Ukraine and determines its relations based on a treaty and agreement.
