YEREVAN. – Police officers have formed rows to block protesters from approaching the department of police, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports.
The activists are chanting “Freedom to friends”, “Free, independent Armenia” mottoes.
Member of “I am against” initiative Hayke Avetisyan held talks with the deputy police chief of Valery Osipyan and later said three detained activists will be released.
As reported earlier, hundreds of citizens gathered near Finance Ministry demanding that Minister should answer their questions related to pension reform. Seeing no response from the minister, activists blocked Nalbandyan street and clashed with police.
