Russia is ready for dialogue with the West, to find ways for the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. But Russia will not tolerate the attempts to present it in one of the Ukrainian conflicting parties.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Saturday.
“We are open for dialogue with our foreign partners,” Lavrov said.
But, “the dialogue must be sincere, in partnership, without the attempts to consider as part of one of the parties [to the conflict],” he noted, reports RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
“The crisis [in Ukraine] is not our doing. What is more, it was created despite our numerous forewarnings. It was created artificially; purely for geopolitical reasons,” the Russia FM stated.
