YEREVAN. – Serbia is grateful to Armenia for balanced position on Kosovo, Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkić said in Yerevan.

The Minister recalled that Serbia and Kosovo are holding talks aimed at creating conditions for normal living standards for all citizens. At the same time he emphasized that Serbia has no intention to recognize Kosovo, and negotiations should include other parameters.

“The main goal is to stabilize regional situation, accept rules that will create conditions for equal prosperity of the citizens who are not Albanians,” he said during a joint media conference with Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.

In turn, Minister Nalbandian haled negotiations between the parties and wished Serbia success.
