YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia has been an opposition political force for a long time, head of Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary group Levon Zurabyan told reporters.

He explained his words by a simple principle: “those who are not authorities, are the opposition, regardless of whatever they call themselves”.

In response to a remark that the party itself is not hurrying to call themselves the opposition, preferring to remain an alternative, Zurabyan said for ANC the moves are important.
 
The MP also said that the leader of Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukyan invited him and other ANC members to the consultations.
