YEREVAN. – Failure of the motion to set up an ad hoc committee on March 1 events is the last opportunity of ruling coalition, secretary of ANC parliamentary group Levon Zurabyan told reporters.

He noted there may be events during which opposition will not need ruling party's help.

“Not necessarily a revolution. People can simply resign,” he emphasized.

Asked whether he believes that someone in authority may resign on his own initiative, Zurabyan said Armenia is facing “velvet political processes”.

“There are many examples when senior officials resign,” he said, adding that four parliamentary forces outside the ruling coalition continue to prepare a vote of no confidence in the government.
