YEREVAN. – Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Monday received Romanian Ambassador to Armenia, Sorin Vasile.

Ohanyan congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, and wished him success in his future work.  

In turn, Vasile noted that he stands ready—within the limits of his official powers—to assist in the development of Armenian-Romanian cooperation in sphere of defense.

At the ensuing talk, they conferred on the course of—and the prospects for—defense cooperation between the two countries, and several other matters of mutual interest.
