Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to London where he will meet with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday.
The officials will discuss situation in Ukraine, Kerry said in Congress on Wednesday.
“We will offer certain choices to Foreign Minister Lavrov and through him President (Vladimir) Putin in the hopes, and I think the hopes of the world, that we will be able to find a way forward,” AFP quotes Kerry.
