YEREVAN. – Ukrainian side is dissatisfied with the actions of CIS states, Ukraine's Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta told reporters on Thursday.

Asked about Ukraine's possible withdrawal from CIS format, Ambassador named it “a very interesting question”. The diplomat recalled that his country assumed presidency of CIS in 2014.

“Ukraine as a chairing state offered to hold a meeting of CIS foreign ministers in Kyiv on March 7, but the ministers refused explaining it by busy schedule. Then Ukraine offered to postpone the meeting to March 12. The ministers failed to gather again,” he emphasized.

Now there is a proposal to hold a meeting in Minsk on March 14.

“If the ministers cannot gather in a difficult period for the chairing state, what is this structure for? Just to talk? I think a political decision will be made, but Ukrainian side is dissatisfied with the actions of CIS states,” Ambassador added.

Ambassador noted that other ministers find time to discuss situation.
