The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) had received a call, on Thursday at 4:26pm, that a person’s clothes were found on the lake shore, the said person was suspected to have drowned, and rescuers were needed, the MES informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
A fire and rescue squad plus a special rescue team, including a frogman, were dispatched to the scene on the same day.
The search operations, however, were halted at 8:20pm, but they resumed on Friday morning.
