YEREVAN. – Armenia faces internal and external challenges, and this is a result of the governance by the current authorities.

Opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party National Assembly (NA) Faction Secretary Aghvan Vardanyan noted the above-said at Friday’s NA briefings.

“We not only will demand the government’s resignation, but introduce a road map project so that the next government would not repeat the current government’s mistakes,” Vardanyan stated.

In response to the query as to whether the Prosperous Armenia Party’s (PAP) remaining an alternative—and not an opposition—gets in the way of their cooperation, the ARF MP noted that, in this context, the form is not important, what’s important is the nature, and the PAP shows its position through actions.

In Vardanyan’s words, they are also discussing the location for the meeting among the four non-ruling-coalition parliamentary forces—the Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Heritage.

“It does not matter where the meeting is held, the important thing is what is being discussed. If the parliamentary majority accepts our proposals and becomes willing to implement them, they will become one of us on the road to pulling the country out of the crisis,” Aghvan Vardanyan noted.
