Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada terminated the authority of the Supreme Council of the Crimea Autonomous Republic.  

The decision was approved with 278 votes for, UNIAN reported.

The supreme council of Crimea decided to set referendum on the status of Crimea for March 16. There will be two questions on the ballot: are you in favor of Crimea becoming a constituent territory of the Russian Federation, and the second one: are you in favor of restoring Crimea’s 1992 constitution.
