Foreign Secretary William Hague said UK will suspend bilateral military cooperation with Russia.
“UK will suspend direct military export licences for Russia which could be deployed against Ukraine,” Hague said.
He noted that the EU states are preparing the third stage of economic and trade sanctions against Russia, says the official Foreign Office Twitter.
Calling the Ukrainian crisis “the most serious test of European security in the 21st century so far”, Hague said the door for diplomacy with Russia is still open. He is convinced it is not too late for diplomatic efforts and Russia’s actions force UK to adopt such measures.
