YEREVAN. – I do not think that the people of Armenia are disappointed with me. Some people just prefer to slander on that topic, recalling the events on April 9, 2013.

Opposition Heritage Party Chairman, ex-presidential candidate, former FM, Raffi Hovannisian noted the aforementioned at a press conference on Friday.

“I don’t think that the people have stopped trusting me. What this or that political scientist says is not an indicator for me. I am in politics for twenty years. I am a politician in whom the people don’t stop trusting,” Hovannisian said.
Reflecting on the post-presidential-election events that unfolded in Armenia in April of the year past, the ex-presidential candidate noted that he had tried to fight without external assistance.

“At the time, we didn’t have the resources to achieve more. Now, however, people have expectations not solely from me, but all political forces,” Heritage’s leader stressed.
