YEREVAN.  – Armenian PM's resignation is a result of joint actions of four non-coalition parliamentary factions, taking into account the initiative on holding rallies in Yerevan and regions, Heritage group head Ruben Hakobyan told reporters.

His comments came after the meeting of four non-coalition parliamentary factions on Friday afternoon that lasted more than three hours.

Hakobyan assured they would continue cooperation and agenda of further moves will be formed during the upcoming discussions. Besides, the factions will issue a joint statement on the Constitutional Court's ruling on pension law.

On Thursday evening after a meeting of the Executive Body of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, party’s spokesperson and Parliament deputy speaker announced the resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
