YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan accepted resignation of the Cabinet on Friday.
He instructed the government to continue performing their duties till the moment when new government will be formed.
On Thursday evening after a meeting of the Executive Body of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, party’s spokesperson and Parliament deputy speaker announced the resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
Four non-coalition parliamentary factions planned to hold 24-hour rallies on April 28-30 and initiate no-confidence vote.
