YEREVAN. – Armenia Acting Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan, and World Armenian Congress and Union of Armenians of Russia Chairman Ara Abrahamyan on Monday signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Hakobyan noted that this is the second memorandum signed between the parties, the Diaspora Ministry press service informed.
Over the course of the past five years, the parties actively collaborated within the framework of the ministry’s projects. Now, however, there is a need to expand the scope of cooperation.
Pursuant to the said memorandum, the parties plan to carry out joint projects in the cultural and educational domains, community development, and the preservation of historical and cultural heritage in the Armenian diaspora.
