Unidentified gunmen have broken into the Donetsk Municipal Council building in Ukraine, Ostrov news agency reported citing a council employee.

“Masked gunmen stormed in. They are on the first floor, on the staircases; but they announce that they are not a threat for the building employees, and they suggest everyone to remain in their places,” the employee said.  

“Negotiations are currently underway with them, to find out their demands and to handle the situation,” the news agency’s interlocutor also said.
