YEREVAN. – On April 19, Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian visited Moscow, where he had a work meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov.
The two FMs conferred on the course of implementation of the agreements that were reached between the presidents of the two countries, and reflected on bilateral agenda issues, the Armenia MFA press service informed.
Nalbandian and Lavrov exchanged views on international topical matters.
In addition, the interlocutors discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. In this context, they underscored the need to exert joint efforts—by the parties to the conflict and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, alike—to find solely a pacific settlement to the conflict.
