Pier Ferdinando Casini, who is Chairman of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Senate of Italy, has issued an address on the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
“Remembering the Genocide, we strongly feel ourselves close to the Armenian people. A genocide which is one of the most livid chapters in modern history.
“All Italians stand with the Armenians, who play a significant role in the history of mankind,” Senator Casini’s message specifically reads.
