YEREVAN. – It is still unknown where renowned Armenian composer, conductor and musicologist Constantine Orbelyan will be laid to rest, the Ministry of Culture press service told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“A governmental burial committee, led by [PM] Hovik Abrahamyan, was set up on April 26, and it will decide. [But] nothing is known as of yet,” the ministry press service specifically informed.        

Constantine Orbelyan, who was People’s Artist of the USSR and Armenia and Knight of the Honor and St. Mesrop Mashtots Orders of Armenia, passed away on April 24 in Los Angeles, at the age of 85.
