YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan spoke about Armenia's steps within Eastern Partnership project during a high-level meeting in Prague, spokesperson for Armenian Foreign Minister Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

His comment came in response to a request to comment remarks by German Ambassador to Armenia Reiner Morell.

Earlier talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am, Ambassador Morell said Armenia can sign political part of the Association Agreement with EU even after joining Customs Union.

“Why not? This is our wish from the German side and I think from the European side as well. We want to sign something but we must see in this situation what it can be,” Ambassador said.

As reported earlier, Serzh Sargsyan expressed conviction that none of the partner countries should be forced to pay a price for the decision it makes regarding its participation level in this or that integration process.

“We do not want to make a choice between friends, but we want to have as many friends as possible,” he said.
