YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 412.80/$1 in Armenia on Monday, falling by 0.21 point from Saturday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 572.51 (up by AMD 0.90), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.46 (down by AMD 0.04), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 695.65 (up by AMD 1.13), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,269.96, AMD  260.92  , and AMD 18,819.45, respectively.

The sales totaled $800,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 413.07/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 413.05/$1, the stock exchange informed.
