YEREVAN. – Today’s meeting discussed the government bill on making amendments to the Law on Funded Pensions, and it was noted that the respective concerns are no longer in the past because our proposals were not taken into account.
Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party National Assembly (NA) Faction Head Ruben Hakobyan told the aforesaid to reporters following Wednesday’s special meeting among the representatives of the four non-ruling NA factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Heritage).
In Hakobyan’s words, the four parliamentary forces will make joint proposals for the bill.
“If the proposals are not accepted, the four parliamentary factions will assemble again and give a logical answer,” he added.
Heritage’s NA Faction head also noted that the holding of a special parliamentary session remains on the agenda of the four non-ruling National Assembly forces.
